Thoughtful Branches

Hello stampers,
Today, I've got 2 cards using the Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set that I was able to make at one of Kerri's classes.
For this card, we used the leaf stamp to stamp Crushed Curry Ink onto Crushed Curry Card Stock cutting them out using the Big Shot & Beautiful Branches Thinlets , we were actually supposed to have 12 leaves if I remember correctly but because I spaced them out so wide I only got to fit nine. We then stamped the leaves from the tree/hydrangea in Early Espresso Ink onto Early Espresso Card Stock, then cut those out using the above. Next, we used the Circle Framelits to cut out not only the inked leaves but also a plain piece to attach the leaves to, so they would look like the seed part. Then we cut out the stem using the same framelits with Garden Green Card Stock. The stem was then attached to a piece of Whisper White Card Stock using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen, the sunflower was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals. The sentiment was then stamped using Crushed Curry Ink. All were then attached to an Early Espresso Card Stock base.
I really liked this next card, it's simple, but nice. We started off with a Crumb Cake Card Stock base, along with the layer (I really like this tone on tone look for the base & layer) which was embossed using the Big Shot & Petal Burst TIEF. Next, we stamped 3 leaves using Garden Green Ink on Garden Green Card Stock, then used the Big Shot & the Beautiful Branches Framlits to cut out the stem, which we also made into just leaves that look laser-cut. We had 2 Whisper White Card Stock & 1 Crumb Cake Card Stock square already cut out so all we had to do was stamp the sentiment from the set using Early Espresso Ink then assemble. Before putting the card together we added a piece of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon around the layer piece, the leaves to the sentiment before affixing them to the layered part. To finish the card, we added a Linen Thread bow to the corner of the sentiment piece.
