BSU062817

Hello stampers,
So today's BSU challenge is all about our favorite set. I have several to choose from that are new to the catalog, but I chose to go with Colorful Seasons Stamp Set.
This first card was done at Linda's stamping event a few weeks ago & while I had the set at home this was the first time I had used it. I like it because it reminds me of the Cherry Blossoms in Okinawa & that you can use it for all 4 seasons, so very versatile. We started with a Berry Burst Card Stock base which was just 1/4" sheet of card stock, layered it with Whisper White Card Stock that was cut down by 1/4" to make the actual card part. We stamped the flowers from the set on top of the card part in Berry Burst Ink. We then used a piece of the Color Theory DSP to line the bottom of the card. Next, we took a layer of Rich Razzleberry Card Stock & Soft Sky Card Stock which was stamped with a sentiment from the set in Rich Razzleberry Ink. We then used Seasonal Layers Thinlets to cut out the branch using Early Espresso Card Stock, the flower using Rich Razzleberry Card Stock & 2 flowers that were stamped using Berry Burst Ink then cut out using the Big Shot.

The second card was done at Kerri's class last week. We started with a Cameo Coral Card Stock base, followed by a Pink Pirouette Card Stock layer. Next, we started with the circle, sponging Pink Pirouette Ink & Cameo Coral Ink into a die cut circle remnant. Then we stamped the chair using Early Espresso Ink & Cameo Coral Ink, followed by the flowers & branch with Soft Suede Ink & Cameo Coral Ink. Lastly, the sentiment was added fron the set using Early Espresso Ink.
Don't forget to head on over to Carol's blog HERE and then to Stace's blog HERE. To see what both did for this week's challenge. I'm sure both will be fantastic. Hope you try this challenge out too! We have a new Facebook group if you want to join us and show us what you came up with HERE.
