BSU122315

Hello stampers,
Sorry I haven't posted much since last week tried real hard to finish up Christmas cards so they could get put in the mail but only ended up getting 1/2 of them out the rest went out yesterday. One of these years, I'll actually get them out early.
For today's BSU challenge it is all about the stamp set or in this case the stamp sets, we chose to feature Festival Of Trees or Peaceful Pines, since they were so similar. To start the card I actually cut the Home For Christmas DSP paper first, then used the Lots Of Labels Framelits to cut the center of it out. This was then attached to Whisper White Card Stock, where I then die cut a smaller frame into the front of the card stock base so that they would line up. Next, I stamped one of the trees from the Festival of Trees Stamp Set through the frame using Pool Party Ink, topping it with a star from using the Itty Bitty Accents Punch with Silver Glimmer Paper. After that I added the sentiment from the set to the front using Smoky Slate Ink. To finish the card I used Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details for the ornaments on the tree.

Don't forget to head on over to Carol's blog HERE and then to Stace's blog HERE. To see what both did for this week's challenge. I'm sure both will be fantastic. Hope you try this challenge out too! We have a new Facebook group if you want to join us and show us what you came up with HERE. VC Rocks opened for the usual December holiday greetings session & this week we are having a blog hop HERE head on over to see what other members have done for their Christmas projects.
