Hello stampers,
Happy Frenzy Friday! I can't believe I only got 2 posts up this week, I have to work on getting better, even if I have to hire a stamp fairy.
So for today's card I decided to do a Halloween card, not usually cards I make but I just had to have the Howl-O-Ween Treat Stamp Set in the Holiday Catalog. Not 100% sure why, but I did like the owl & figured I could use him for other things, hopefully my thoughts will work. So I started with a Rich Razzleberry Card Stock base & stamped the spider stamp in Memento Black Ink all over it. Next, came the banner which I used Old Olive Card Stock, punched the end with the Banner Triple Punch, then stamped the spider in Rich Razzleberry Ink. I used the Oval Framelits to cut a Basic Black Card Stock oval from, I decided 1 oval was enough instead of the 2 in the sketch. For the skull & bones, I used Memento Black Ink stamped on Whisper White Card Stock then cut them using the Boo To You Framelits, afterwards I cut the bones in 1/2 so that you could see both sides on either side of the skull. Lastly I stamped the spider in Memento Black Ink onto Rich Razzleberry Card Stock & cut it out using the Boo To You Framelits. Voila that is my card in a nutshell, I hope you like it!
This week's sketch was created by Kim Innis. Hop on over to the SFF blog & check out what the other team members did. Better yet, make your own card based on the sketch below & add your link to this week's challenge. Happy sketching & enjoy your weekend!
