Hello stampers,
Happy Frenzy Friday & hopefully a long weekend for everyone! From the sounds of it, all the kids are back in school as of this week, so all the mommies must be happy they have crafting time again.
So with school starting back up I decided to focus on fall. I'm not sure exactly why as we are still experiencing summer like weather of mid 80's to 90's, not that I'm complaining too much it's a lot better then the negatives. For the base, I used Tangerine Tango Card Stock followed by a layer of Soft Suede Card Stock that I ran through the Big Shot & embossed it with the Woodgrain TIEF & attached 3 Regals (Crushed Curry) Candy Dots to. Next, I used Into the Woods DSP followed by a layer of Old Olive Card Stock. For the stamped image, I used the For All Things Stamp Set, stamping the background stamp with Crushed Curry Ink, followed by the leaves using Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango & Early Espresso Marvelous Markers, followed by a layer of Tangerine Tango Card Stock. For the sentiment, I stamped the banner with Crushed Curry Ink, the sentiment in Tangerine Tango Ink & the acorns with the Soft Suede & Early Espresso Marvelous Markers, which was then followed by a layer of Tangerine Tango Card Stock & 2 Regals (Crushed Curry) Candy Dots.
This week's sketch was created by Carol Read. Hop on over to the SFF blog & check out what the other team members did. Better yet, make your own card based on the sketch below & add your link to this week's challenge. Happy sketching & enjoy your weekend!
