Bright & Beautiful Stars

Hello stampers,
I hope y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving & a great long weekend if you were lucky. For us it was kind of a lazy weekend. We were "those" people who decided to walk around the mall Thanksgiving night, did a bit of shopping on Friday although it was later in the day (nothing all that great to get us out of our warm bed that early in the morning), cleaned the house a bit to get ready to decorate for Christmas, and of course watched some FOOTBALL! So after all that, today has been a slow start as you can see with the post being late. Some day I'm going to remember to set up my posts ahead of time instead of working on the day it is meant to be posted. I used to do it, but somehow got into this new routine.
Today's card uses the Bright & Beautiful Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog, the last card we made at Kerri's last month. The base of the card is Whisper White Card Stock, followed by Soft Sky Card Stock. On the top layer we once again used Whisper White, stamped the big star onto it with Soft Sky Ink. We then used the VersaMark Pad for the greeting, sprinkled it with Silver Embossing Powder & then heat set it. We used scraps of Soft Sky & Whisper White to make 2 more stars with the next size smaller star, on the Soft Sky we used the White Embossing Powder & on the Whisper White star we used the Silver Embossing Powder. We finished the card by adding a small Rhinestone Jewel to the middle of the silver star.

~Enjoy
