Blog goals & a card

Happy Friday everybody!

Something popped into my head last night from an email I remember reading last week or so. This woman on one of my Yahoo! groups was stamping her way A to Z through her sets or something to that effect. Which got me to thinking after I stamped the Inspired to Nature card on Monday, that I need to set a few goals for myself, kindof like a belated New Years resolution, however I hope to be able to stick to these a bit more:
  1. I really need to start stamping more, which by doing this blog I have started to accomplish that.
  2. I really need to start using all my sets (retired included) or get rid of them GASP!! I really like all the sets that I do have, however, pretty soon I am going to run out of space to put them because I can't seem to convert to acrylic I just gotta have my wood!!! So I need to make at least 1 card with each set.
So there are my 2 goals that I will start out with, I can always add more later right?

Today's card is inspired from 2 challenges Just Add Ink for the sketch and Cards & Things for the colors. I really need to start thinking about Christmas cards, but it's hard to do that in hot & humid Texas, but I did manage to come up with an idea while waiting for my new Christmas sets to come in my order.

All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise stated
Sets: Patterned Pines (retired), Holiday & Wishes (retired)
Ink/Markers: Wild Wasabi
Paper: Crumb Cake, Real Red, Real Red DSP
Other: Wild Wasabi ribbon (retired), Nestabilities Labels Three

  5. I really like your card Terry.

I also thoroughly agree with your goals and feel it's time to set my own - use my sets or get rid of them *gasp*. I love the A-Z idea - now let's see if I can do it lol.
